I love cherries in the summer. They’re best between May and August, so I take full advantage during the summer months and buy them almost weekly. While delicious just for snacking, cherries are incredibly versatile and can be used in many different dishes, both savory and sweet. Pro tip: when selecting the perfect bunch of cherries, look for the ones with shiny skin and green stems still attached. They’re the best.
