Making your own Pomegranate Molasses is easy and it only requires three simple ingredients! Use it in stews, dips, vinaigrettes and more.

  • 2 cups pomegranate juice
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  1. Place the pomegranate juice, sugar and lemon juice in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook until the sugar has completely dissolved, stirring occasionally.
  2. Once the sugar has dissolved, reduce the heat to low and cook until the mixture has reduced to 1/2 cup, 40-45 minutes. It should be the consistency of thick syrup.
  3. Remove the molasses from the heat and allow to cool in the saucepan for 20 minutes. Transfer to a glass jar and allow to cool completely before covering and storing in the refrigerator.
